Often comes up in context together with the program anki as option for a good tool for learning Japanese vocabulary. Memrise provides users to create "courses" where you play through them with a vocabulary quiz type of system. Similar to Anki, it does intellentgly calculate which words you are having problems with and makes you review them. Memrise exist for both smartphones and on the web. The design for the website is clean and gives you images for easier memorization.
Jisho.org is a well known English-Japanese online dictionary. The dictionary proves examples, words and kanji readings and meanings.
